Hometown Olympian
As many of you know, we have an Olympic Pistol Shooter in Boulder City. Alexis Lagan grew up learning to shoot on our own BRPC Range and is, for the second time, preparing to go to the 2024 Olympics in Paris. She is now
working to raise funds to help pay for her trip expenses.
At the club’s annual meeting, the winner of the grand prize Canik MC 9 donated it back to be auctioned off to help Alexis get to the Paris Olympics. Toni Clancey won the auction, and Maggie Mordaunt matched it, raising over $2000.
At the February 21 board meeting, the Board of Directors unanimously voted to donate $5000 to help Alexis make her way to the Olympics.
We are now reaching out to the club to match or even double the donation from our membership. To help Alexis, please Donate Here and select the amount you want to donate.
