🏆 Intro to Competitive Shooting Class – USPSA at BRPC

 

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new USPSA discipline at Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club—and we’re inviting BRPC members and their guests to join us for a FREE Intro to Competitive Shooting Class on Saturday, September 27th.

Whether you're an experienced shooter or just curious about the sport, this hands-on class is a great way to explore competitive shooting with a focus on USPSA. You'll learn:

  • Safe gun handling
  • USPSA match formats and rules
  • Equipment overview
  • Basic techniques and stage strategy

Safety is our top priority. Our goal is to help you feel confident stepping into a match—without the risk of an early disqualification.

⚠️ This is not a beginner-level class. Participants must be proficient with a handgun and able to safely draw from a holster.

Required Gear:

  • Handgun (Note: Sig P320 is banned at BRPC)
  • Minimum of 3 magazines
  • OWB kydex holster (Serpa holsters are not permitted)
  • Magazine pouches
  • At least 200 rounds of ammunition (more is welcome!)

Class Details:

We’ll wrap up with a live stage setup so you can apply what you’ve learned in a real-world scenario.
