Technician Amateur Radio Course

This is a 3-day amateur radio class with the HAM exams being held in the afternoon of the third day.

This is the first license you get when you start out on your adventure in amateur radio. Even if you do not understand electronics, the instructors will teach you everything you need to know to confidently pass the test. This class is held over a Saturday, Sunday Monday weekend. The book that is required is ‘The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual’ 5th edition.

The class fee is $20.00. The examination will be offered on the last day of the class but will be given by the Las Vegas VE Team and will be an additional $15.00. The book is available by contacting the instructor or at the class for $33.00. Pre-study is not required but is beneficial.
